Free QR codes with no signup
Zevqi’s QR code generator supports the most useful formats: URL, text, email, phone and WiFi. The QR image is generated locally in your browser and downloaded as a clean PNG.
Tips for great QR codes
- Keep URLs short. Long links create denser, harder-to-scan codes.
- Print at high contrast — dark modules on a light background scan best.
- Leave a quiet margin around the code — don’t crop the edges.

About the QR Code Generator
A QR code is a quick bridge between print and screen. The QR Code Generator creates scannable codes for web addresses, plain text, email, phone numbers and WiFi networks and lets you download them as PNG images.
Codes are generated in your browser. What you type, including WiFi passwords, is not sent to us.
How to use it
- Pick a type: URL, Text, Email, Phone or WiFi.
- Fill in the fields. The QR code updates as you type.
- Download the PNG and test it with your phone before printing.
Common uses
- Adding a link to a poster, flyer, menu or business card.
- Letting guests join your WiFi by scanning instead of typing a password.
- Sharing a contact email or phone number at an event.
Tips for better results
- Always test the printed code with at least two different phones before sending it to print.
- Keep strong contrast, dark code on a light background, and leave a blank margin around it.
- Short URLs produce simpler, easier-to-scan codes than very long ones.
Good to know
- These codes are static. The content is fixed inside the image, so you cannot change the destination later or track scans.
- Making the printed code very small can make it hard to scan. Around 2 cm square is a sensible minimum.
